This Weekend: Palm Coast serves up Seafood Festival

Tasty seafood, champion sand-sculpting, crab races, a carnival and a world-famous K-9 Frisbee dog show are among the many highlights of the city of Palm Coast’s third-annual Seafood Festival to be held noon to 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, at Central Park at Town Center, 975 Central Ave.

Admission is $3, 12 and under free; parking is free. The carnival will also be open 5-10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2.

New to the festival this year are an Arts & Crafts Show and the world champion Sand-Tastics Sand Sculpting team, which will spend the weekend creating a 25-ton sand sculpture featuring sea life and the new Palm Coast & the Flagler Beaches logo of the Flagler County Tourist Development Council.

A fireworks spectacular will be at dark on Saturday, Nov. 3.

Noon to 3 p.m. Music of the World: Cesear Romero on the main stage
Noon to 5 p.m. Classic Guitars by Patchouli on the arts and crafts stage
1-4 p.m. Magic Shows
1-5 p.m. Crab Racing, every hour on the hour
2, 4 and 6 p.m. Champion Frisbee Dog Shows
3-4 p.m. 3 In Motion Dance on the main stage
4-8 p.m. Steel Daddy (Steel Drums and Key West music) on the main stage

Other events happening this weekend:

First Friday — 6-9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, at Veterans Park, Flagler Beach. There will be a chili cook-off, cardboard castle-building and the Navy Band.
 

Holiday Fair — 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 156 Florida Park Drive. Holiday shopping with jewelry and scarves, books, crafts, closet clutter, slightly used women's/baby clothes and small tools. Call 246--3948.
 

Arts and Crafts Sale — 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Saturday, Nov. 3, at Palm Coast Bible Church, 94 Whiteview Parkway. Open to vendors both inside and outside our church fellowship. All spaces will be indoors. Call 585-0792 for more information, or you may register online atwww.pcbiblechurch.org.

Fashion Show & Luncheon — Noon to 3 p.m.  Saturday, Nov. 3, at St. Mark by the Sea Lutheran Church, 303 Palm Coast Parkway N.E. Fashions by Bonnie's Boutique of Ormond Beach. Proceeds benefit local and global charities. Tickets are $10; call 986-2181 or 445-9025.
