The African American Cultural Society will present the 10th-annual Black History Reality Show 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, at the center, 4422 U. S. 1 N. 

The show is an opportunity for youth to learn about African American accomplishments past and present. This year’s show will include the stories of Lewis Latimer, an inventor, Barrington Irving, the youngest person to pilot a plane around the world solo, and Gabby Douglas, who won two gold medals at 2012 Olympic Games.
The show free, but donations are encouraged to raise funds for scholarships.

Other weekend happenings are:

Heart to Heart Valentine Event — 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at 80 Pinnacle Drive. A special panel of single Christian men will be there to answer dating questions, Guest author Dr. Jill Mattocks will also be there to sign her book, ‘Don’t Judge Me, Love Me!’ Call 283-5348.

Winter Carnival — 12:30-3:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at the Flagler County Public Library, 2500 Palm Coast Parkway N.W. Games in addition to a DJ and dancing from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. by Music Fusion. Call 446-6763.

Spay-ghetti Dinner — 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at the Palm Coast VFW, 47 N. Old Kings Road. Hosted by The Flagler Humane Society. Tickets $30 and available at flaglerhumanesociety.org and at the shelter located at 1 Shelter Drive. Call 237-7690.

Evan Kobach Benefit — noon-6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, at High Jackers Restaurant, 202 Airport Road. Live band, silent auction, raffles and face painting. Cubby from the Daytona Cubs will be visiting, Beach 92.7 will be broadcasting. All proceeds benefit the medical bills.

Trinity Chamber Players Music Concert — 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, at the Trinity Presbyterian Church Sanctuary, 156 Florida Park Drive N. Directed by Paige Dashner Long. Presenting JS Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No 4. Free concert - open to all. Call 445-4757, or visit contraflute.com.
