'Tour de Palm Coast' rides to town for National Parks and Recreation month

Dive-in movie

When: 8 p.m. Friday, July 21

Where: Frieda Zamba Swimming Pool, 339 Parkview Drive

Details: Admission is $1 to see “Sing” (PG) at the Frieda Zamba Swimming Pool on July 21 for this month’s dive-in movie event.

Tour de Palm Coast

When: 8 a.m. Saturday, July 22

Where: Palm Coast City Hall, 160 Lake Ave.

Details: To celebrate National Parks and Recreation month, the “Tour de Palm Coast” will take riders along the scenic route of Lehigh Trail behind Epic Movie Theater down to Colbert Lane and back to Palm Coast City Hall. No registration is required, and riders must be age 8 or older. It is recommended to bring water and wear a helmet.

Parks & Play

When: 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 26

Where: James F. Holland Memorial Park, 18 Florida Park Drive

Details: Join Palm Coast Parks & Recreation for the first-ever “Parks & Play Night” on July 26. The night, which is celebrating National Parks & Recreation month and the re-opening of Holland Park, will include family-oriented games and free ice cream. For more information, call Parks & Recreation at 986-2323.

Common Ground Breakfast

When: 8-9 a.m. Thursday, July 27

Where: Hilton Garden Inn, 55 Town Center Blvd.

Details: The Flagler Chamber's Common Ground Breakfast Series on July 27 will feature Sen. Travis Hutson and Rep. Paul Renner to provide a recap of the 2017 legislative session and a look ahead to the 2018 session, which commences in January. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m., and breakfast will start at 8 a.m. Members can preregister for $25 or pay $30 at the door. Guests can attend for $35.
