Sarah Elizabeth Toro, daughter of Henry and Sharon Toro, of Palm Coast, will marry Paul Julio Miranda, son of David and Julianne Miranda, of Ballston Lake, N.Y., Nov. 5.
The two met eight years ago through mutual friends and ran in and out of each other’s lives until Toro needed maintenance done around her house in 2010.
Miranda offered to help, on one condition — that he could take Toro on a date.
One day the lovebirds were watching a movie, when Miranda started asking lots of random questions.
The sixth question asked was, “Well, what do you think of spending the rest of your life with me?”
Half asleep, Toro was a little confused, until Miranda slid the engagement ring on her finger.
“My fairy tale dream came true,” said Toro. “Funny to us how God knew all along, even eight years prior, that we were made for each other.”
