Thief breaks into car, steals Bud Light, wallet

11:25 p.m. 1400 block of Palm Coast Parkway. Vehicle burglary: A 34-year-old man went to a bar with his mother at about 10:30 p.m. to play pool. He left his car unlocked, thinking it would be OK because he’d parked right in front of the bar. But when his mom went outside for a cigarette, she noticed that someone had rummaged through her son’s car, according to a Sheriff’s Office report. The man came outside and saw that the windshield was cracked, and that a thief had made off with his wallet and eight 16-ounce cans of Bud Light.
