Moe’s Southwest Grill will be coming to Island Walk shopping center on Palm Coast Parkway NE, in early 2016. The Palm Coast branch is owned by Brad Chasteen, whom owns an additional 35 Moe’s restaurants throughout Florida and 14 throughout Washington D.C., Maryland and Virginia. The restaurant will seat 40-50 people and will have the latest and greatest Moe’s restaurant design. The location will be featuring a Coke Freestyle machine available for guests.

Career Opportunity:

Applications for new hires will be accepted at the restaurant in January, 2016.

According to Palm Coast’s Business Assistance Center, the following companies were issued tax receipts for Oct. 29 to Nov. 4:

  • New Europa is a restaurant also serving alcohol at 101 Palm Harbor Parkway.
  • J&E Jackson Enterprises PLLC is a medical provider at 1030 Palm Coast Parkway.
  • Coastal Palm Insurance Agency is at 2 Pine Lakes Parkway.
  • Arttania LLC is a retail store at 19 Hargrove Grade.
  • Great Clips is a hair salon at 250 Palm Coast Parkway.
  • Deborah’s Delights Inc. is a bakery at 5 Utility Drive.

Home-based businesses: Alice Schneider, janitorial service; Joseph Scott Ferris LLC, handyman services; Mom’s Mops Cleaning, janitorial service; Arrington Tile and Marble, tile instillation; Suncoast Communications Group LLC, internet installation service; Henderson Quality Remodeling, handyman service; Crystal Clear Pool of Central Florida Inc., fence contractor.

The following is an update for permit activity in the city for Oct. 29 to Nov. 4. Total number of all permits issued: 198. Since January 2009, $ 792,563,257construction dollars have been invested in Palm Coast.

Commercial Permits Applications

Hawkins Construction applied for a $510,000 application for interior renovations on Tuesday mornings at Island Walk, 250 Palm Coast Parkway NE, Suite 603.

Hawkins Construction applied for a $57,000 application for interior brass tap renovations at Island Walk, 250 Palm Coast Parkway NE, Suite 201.

Seagate Homes applied for a $1,000 application for interior renovations at 185 Cypress Point Parkway, Suite 300.

 

Commercial permits issued

Hawkins Construction was issued a $865,000 permit for demolition of three walls in the front façade at Island Walk, 250 Palm Coast Parkway NE, Building 600.

Intercoastal Construction was issued a $8,000 permit for Emerald Day Spa interior renovations at 1490 Palm Coast Parkway NW, Unit 3.

 

Residential permits issued

Palm West was issued a $508,000 permit for a single-family residence at 18 Longview Way N.

Seagate Homes was issued a $ 302,000 permit for a single-family residence at 30 Leaver Drive.

Dream Finders Homes was issued a $292,000 permit for a single-family residence at 104 Vireo Drive.

AJV Enterprises was issued a $258,000 permit for a single-family residence at 8 Sedum Court.

Saltwater Homes was issued a $247,000 permit for a single-family residence at 4 Felshire Lane.

Seagate Homes was issued a $228,000 permit for a single-family residence at 35 Riverview Drive.

Auburn Homes was issued a $173,000 permit for a single-family residence at 30 Woodford Lane.

Lifetime Enclosures was issued a $59,000 permit for an addition at 30 Rockefeller Drive.

Fontana Construction was issued a $26,000 permit for an addition at 12 Emmons Lane.

Aluminum Construction was issued a $7,000 permit for an addition at 33 Banton Lane.

Intervest Construction was issued a $8,000 permit for an addition at 14 August Trail.

Hodgins Construction was issued a $3,000 permit for an addition at 222 Willow Oak Way.

 

Occupancy permits

Richard Giordano was issued an occupancy permit for Precision of Northeast Florida an insurance office at 2 Pine Lakes Parkway N., Suite 6.

Amberty Parkhurst was issued an occupancy permit for Wellness One Chiropractic at 2 Office Park Drive, Unit A.

Deborah Rivera was issued an occupancy permit for Deborah's Delights Café and Baked Goods at 5 Utility Drive, Unit 19.

 

Certificate of occupancy

Southeast General Contractors was issued a $27,000 certificate of occupancy for ADA compliance renovations at 4500 Belle Terre Parkway.

Success Builders was issued a $14,000 certificate of occupancy for Great Clips at 250 Palm Coast Parkway, Unit 400.
