As 2013 begins, the Palm Coast Chapter of the Florida Writers’ Association reaches out to writers of all levels to expand and nurture their talent by surrounding themselves with colleagues and resources to help them.
The Florida Writers Association Palm Coast chapter is open to all aspiring writers and welcomes new members to their group in 2013. The group is under the leadership of Jeff Swesky and Mike King, both published authors. There is no cost associated with participation and the local chapter.
A critique group meets 10 a.m. on the second Saturday of each month, at Dominic’s Deli located at City Market Place. There is a general meeting on the fourht Saturday at the same location and time.
“Mike and I have designed our chapter to be fairly dynamic in nature, but at times we have speakers who present on specific topics related to writing, publishing or marketing,” Swesky said. “We encourage the input of our members on what they want the group to be. If you’re already an accomplished writer, you’ll meet new colleagues and develop valuable contacts.”
