Intracoastal Bank celebrated its seventh-anniversary Tuesday, June 16. Here are a few facts about the bank spanning the past seven years. The bank opened in 2008 with 10 employees, and now, it currently has 32 employees. The bank started with zero deposits and loans, but it currently has approximately $257.2 million in assets, $234.9 million in deposits and has loaned $134.8 million to local businesses and citizens in the community. Intracoastal Bank is rated a five-star bank by Bauer Financial consistently for many consecutive years, and one of its major accomplishment was the successful launch of then Volusia County Banking Center.
