Presented by Politis Law firm and hosted by the Flagler Beach Chamber of Commerce, Flagler Beach’s Fourth of July celebration kicks off at 9 a.m.
As always, visitors will line the streets that morning, to watch a parade commemorating “the Good Ole Summer Time,” hosted by the Flagler Beach Rotary. After, the second-annual cornhole competition will take place, as well as watermelon and hot dog eating contests.
Last year, more than 25,000 people were in attendance for this beachside holiday tradition.
The following is the schedule of events:
10 a.m. Independence Day
11 a.m. Cornhole Competition
12 p.m. Watermelon Eatin’ Contest
1 p.m. Tiny Tiki/Lil’ Kahuna Event
2 p.m. Hot Dog Eating Competition sponsored by Chi Dog
3 p.m. Battle of the Bands
9:15 p.m. FIREWORKS DISPLAY!!!
“Battle of the Bands” is a new event, featuring six local bands in a competition for bragging rights and cash prizes.
