The U.S. Navy rock band Pride will entertain at Flagler Beach’s monthly First Friday 6-9 p.m. today, Aug. 5, at Veterans Park – across from City Hall, at the intersection of State Road 100 and State Road A1A.

Residents and visitors are invited to enjoy a night of music and entertainment provided by some of the Navy’s finest musicians.

An entire block of separate activities will be available for attendees of all ages.

There will be face painting, a cornhole toss competition and a poetry reading by Stanley Drescher.
Attendees will also experience the first Flagler Beach Dip-Off, a chip dip competition.

Food enthusiasts are encouraged to dig out the old family recipe or to explore something new. If you aren’t a culinary expert, join in the dip eating to select the champion.

To join the competition, see the entry form information available at www.cityofflaglerbeach.com.
