UPDATE — 5:25 p.m.
William Hofer was taken into custody this afternoon around 3:30 p.m. at a location on John
Anderson Highway, in the Flagler Beach area. Charges are pending. Additional details will be released shortly.

Schools will be released on their normal schedules, according to Debra Johnson, spokeswoman for the Flagler County Sheriff's Office.
Sheriff’s Office deputies have identified the former student as William Hofer.
His last address was listed as 41 Zaun Trail, Palm Coast, but deputies said he is now a transient and has no home address.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 386-313-4911.
Hofer was arrested Nov. 2 on probation violation charges.

The former student, who is 20 years old, is a 2011 graduate of Flagler Palm Coast High School.
The Sheriff’s Office is operating under the assumption that the former student has access to weapons based on his Facebook postings, but that fact has not been confirmed.
UPDATE — 10:52 a.m.
The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office has locked down the campuses of Flagler Palm Coast
High School, Matanzas High School, Imagine School at Town Center and Daytona State
College’s Palm Coast campus after a former student posted threatening messages overnight on Facebook that included harming himself.
The move is precautionary, and classes on all campuses are proceeding as normal.
The lock downs were initiated around 8:53 a.m.
The Sheriff’s Office is utilizing all available resources to locate the former student.
“We are taking this threat seriously and we are working to resolve this situation quickly,” said Mjr. Steve Clair.
Updates will be issued as they become available.

Both of Flagler County’s high schools, as well as Daytona State College’s Palm Coast campus, were put on “partial lockdown” this morning following a Facebook threat, according to a source with the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office.
This morning, the Sheriff’s Office received information that a male posted on Facebook that “he was going to go to a school and shoot another kid,” the source confirmed.
Daytona State College in Daytona Beach was also notified of the threat.
As of 10:15 a.m., the Sheriff’s Office was still looking for the male suspect, who lives in the Z-section.
