Sylvia Denise Dozier, of Palm Coast, was arrested and jailed Monday, Nov. 22, for beating a man in his wheelchair, according to the Sheriff’s Office report.
In a statement, the victim said Dozier struck the back of his wheelchair with a steel bar, then hit him in the chest, left leg and head. The victim, who was paralyzed from previous injuries, was unable to write the statement, so he dictated the information to a deputy.
Dozier was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
