Brian McMillan, Managing Editor: After working for two years as the sports editor at the East County Observer, near Sarasota, Brian left Florida to earn his Master's of Fine Arts degree in creative nonfiction at Northern Michigan University. He then returned to The Observer Group as the managing editor of the Palm Coast Observer since its first issue in February 2010.

Andrew O'Brien, Associate Editor: After graduating from the University of North Florida with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication with a concentration on Journalism, Andrew returned to his hometown. He has been with the Palm Coast Observer since its first issue in February 2010. Andrew was named one of the top sports columnists in 2012 by the Florida Press Association. He also was the 2011 Journalist of the Year for The Observer Group.
Shanna Fortier, Community Editor: After graduating from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism with a concentration in visual communications, Shanna returned to her hometown of Palm Coast. Shanna is a multiple award winning photographer on both the state and national
level including the coveted Robert J. Ellison Memorial Award for Excellence in Portfolio Photography from Florida Press Association. She has been with the Palm Coast Observer since its second issue in February 2010.
Megan Hoye, Staff Writer: After graduating from Seattle Pacific University with Bachelor of Arts degrees in English literature, journalism and creative writing, Megan moved to Palm Coast to join the Observer staff. She has been with the Palm Coast Observer since August 2012.
Jared Mauldin, Multimedia Director: After graduating from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Sciene degree in Communications, Jared worked in Charleston, SC and Gainesville, FL at local TV affiliates as a production assistant and producer. He moved to the Palm Coast area in July of 2012 and joined the Observer in December of that year.
